Moving from an existing Olympus on-premise solution or any other dictation and transcription solution, it is important to know what hardware is compatible with ODMS Cloud.
Only the following physical digital dictaphones can be used with ODMS Cloud:
- OM System DS-9100 & DS-2700
- Olympus DS-9500, DS-9000 & DS-2600
Only the following physical transcription typing pedals can be used with ODMS Desktop when playing audio from ODMS Cloud
- OM System RS-31N, RS-27N & RS-28N
- Olympus RS-31H & RS-27H & RS-28H
Note older Olympus pedals without the H in their model number are not compatible.
A compatible transcription typing foot pedal is required to control audio playback for transcription typists, hot keys are not available for use in the ODMS Desktop application for Windows or macOS.
